Midway Airport/ Hotel Center Area:
- Several restaurants in the hotel complex including TGI Friday’s and Dempsey’s Irish- American Grill
- Chicago Pizza- Giordano’s Restaurant and Pizzeria at the corner of 63rd Street and Cicero
Oak Lawn Hilton Area:
- Two restaurants in the hotel- Whitney’s (especially Sunday brunch) and the 95th Street Grill
- Area restaurants include local favorite Top Notch Beefburgers (1 block south of the hotel on Hilton Drive), Fox’s Restaurant and Pub (Irish and Italian) at 93rd and Cicero, and Palermo’s (Chicago Pizza/ Italian- local favorite) at 95th and Lacrosse (1 block west of Cicero).
- Cupid Ice Cream- old time ice cream parlor and candy shop across the street from Top Notch
Tourney Area: (Concessions available at all 3 sites both days.)
- Faster: Wojo’s at the corner of 99th and Pulaski (great shakes!), Portillo’s (95th St. just west of Pulaski- Chicago Italian Beef, Sandwiches, and Salads) & Subway (103rd Street and Pulaski)
- Local: Barraco’s Italian Restaurant and Pizza (95th Street and Lawndale- about ½ mile east of Pulaski), Chi Tung Chinese Restaurant- local favorite and always busy… suggest reservations here at (708) 636-8180 (96th St. and Kedzie- 1 mile east of Pulaski), and Bro’s Favorite- Swanson’s Deli (103rd St. near Western Ave.- 2 miles east of Pulaski)- small but great food! (Also: Oak Lawn Hilton area.)
Entertainment
Local:
- Various high school sporting events at Brother Rice (track, baseball, and water polo Friday, baseball and water polo Saturday) and Mother McAuley (softball and soccer)

- Shopping/ Movies: Westfield Mall (95th and Ridgeland- 3 miles west of Pulaski), Orland Square Mall- local favorite (145th St. & La Grange Road- 7 miles west of Pulaski)
City:
- DOWNTOWN/ LAKEFRONT (Anything and Everything- shopping, museums, theatres, boat trips… you can never go wrong here!) For our out-of-town guests, you can park at Midway and hop the Orange Line (Called the ‘L’) to the Loop (downtown) to avoid high parking fees and traffic… the weather forecast calls for great weather but remember in Chicago – cooler by the lake and if you don’t like the weather now, it will change soon!
- Chicago White Sox Baseball vs. Seattle on Saturday (TBA) at “the Cell” with fireworks (TBA) following the game- for ticket availability and info: www.whitesox.com
Regional:
- Chicago Cubs Baseball at Milwaukee on Saturday 6:10 PM- 90 minute drive from Chicago.
- NAIA Men’s Volleyball Championship at St. Ambrose University in Davenport, Iowa- 7 PM Saturday- 2 ½ hours away. www.sau.edu
